with these wonderful bougainvilleas shot by Julian Wolenstein. Bougainvilleas remind me of my mom as they are one of her favorite plants. Every time I go home to Houston I get to see these amazing plants almost everywhere especially in The Heights, River Oaks, and Tanglewood areas.
These images are part of a series called "Little Adults" by photographer Anna Skaldmann. "The series explores what it feels like to be a privileged child living in Russia, a country where its radical history and social hierarchy still rules their daily lives. It is the exploration of the recently growing society of the "Nouveau-Riche" in which children have been raised to become the "Elite" and behave like little adults." Well, it seems as though these kids (parents) need a nice dose of REALITY! Creepy! Clearly I don't blame them though, it's all the parents.
Well, I guess you better be high to purchase something like this unless you don't mind sitting on Niagara Falls. I wonder if that counts as wetting yourself? These pieces of furniture are a little absurd don't you think? I mean I would never own them but touche, there is something for everyone. Designed for Meritalia by designer Gaetano Pesce.
V&A washrooms designed by London based architects, Glowacka Rennie. I admire their play on rhythm throughout the space along with the restrained color palette. Via Dezeen
Here is part 2 of my Beijing collection. I am including the Great Wall @ Simatai, although not really near Beijing it was a day trip for us. The Great Wall was one of the most fascinating experiences I have ever had. Simatai is also the steepest portion of the wall.
