Check out this adorable home office by Anna, a book cover designer (how do you get that gig?) in NY and blogger of DoorSixteen. This is definitely my kind of office. I have to admit though that I would have some trouble in the organizational area. My desk after about 2 weeks might become littered with papers and magazines. I am slowly trying to rid myself of that problem and once I do it will be Colt's happiest day! I recommend you browsing through her blog, she is doing renovations on a 1890's rowhouse which is just fabulous. Besides this office, I have to say that the bathroom remodel using matte black penny tiles and black grout has to be my favorite! Tons of inspiration!
Some of this and some of that to end out March. Slowly our place is coming together and our lives are falling into place here in Chicago. I am currently studying for the LEED exam which I will take in 7 weeks and am excited that my dear friend Mary Welch is packing her bags from NYC and moving here. Lots of exciting things happening in the next few months. I am eagerly awaiting the warmer months ahead!
Practicing Interior Designer living + working in Chicago by way of Houston, TX. Curiously wanting to experience and see new things and rediscover the old. Observer of life & design. Constantly collecting information, touching and photographing things. This is where I share inspiration with others. If you see me, stop me and say hello.
