This past Saturday we ventured outside the city about 55 miles to Plano, IL to tour the home that Ludwig Mies Van der Rohe designed for Dr. Farnsworth in the 50's. What an amazing time to visit and what a stunning display of modernist ideals! I wish I had a weekend getaway like this to relax in and enjoy life.
