As a requirement for class I had to edit my mid-term film from over 10 minutes to less than 5 minutes. Well, I got as close as I could to it without losing the integrity of the film. So here it is.... and also... this is my 600th post!!!!! What?!
My sister and her boyfriend from Houston are in town this weekend! It seems as though we are running a bed and breakfast around here! It will be a great time! Below is a little video from fourth of july, pitchfork music festival, and lake michigan! Have a great weekend!
I have an extremely busy week ahead of me with midterms and a wedding I'm in in Colorado this weekend! I also downloaded the new update to iphone and managed to permanently delete all of my gmail inbox and have tried to recover with no success. Good thing: email inbox is empty Bad thing: email box is empty and all that have commented on my page the past week... I had responses in que but I will have to somehow back track! Oh well! Life goes on I suppose. Below is edit #5 of my film for media and communications class. It's due next week so I still have time to change things....and the ending is for fun. I was just playing around in imovie. Final version will be much higher quality.
I should have posted these about two weeks ago but I forgot that I had them. Here are some stills from my Pecha Kucha Chicago Vol.14 presentation. I was way nervous presenting in front of about 300 people but I had such an amazing time and would do it again! What a great night with amazing presenters!
We went to go see the movie "A Single Man" directed by Tom Ford over the weekend and were very impressed! I highly recommend it to anyone! Rough summary: In 1960s Los Angeles, a gay college professor wants to end his life after learning that his lover has died in an accident. Very emotional and inspiring. The costuming and eye-wear in the movie are fantastic!
Practicing Interior Designer living + working in Chicago by way of Houston, TX. Curiously wanting to experience and see new things and rediscover the old. Observer of life & design. Constantly collecting information, touching and photographing things. This is where I share inspiration with others. If you see me, stop me and say hello.
