kitchen redux

We are in dire need of a new table in the kitchen.  Currently we have a 24x48 stainless steel work table which is great but I would like to use it as a work desk in our office area so... we need a new table.  This Ikea table fits the budget and since I won 6 BRNO chairs recently I will use 3 in the kitchen and add one more if we are entertaining. This is the initial idea. PS, snow is super crazy here! It lightning and thundered and the lights flickered about 3 times.  Please don't let power go out! So far about 10" of snow.

This was a recent purchase from last weeks DC trip to visit a client. I found a really cute shop that sold nothing but antique rugs and pillows like the one below. It was in eastern market on Capitol hill and lucky for my bank account I found the store 30 minutes prior to leaving for airport!!

Did I ever share with y'all my recent kudu horn auction win? Well, I won! Thank you eBay for the $35 dollar score on these 37" kudu horns. I am trying to figure out where and how to hang.

a little something i have been working on

My very own official little studio.  I have amassed quite a few clients and I figured the time has come for me to take a leap. A really big leap and start doing this thing.  I have such a great network of friends and family that have been pushing for me to do this for a very long time.  I am still waiting for llc and interior design license from illinois but I should be up and running shortly.
