Some shots wandering about the neighborhood as Chicago finally thaws out!

driftwood headboard

I used a large piece of driftwood as a headboard for the guest room. 

philodendron

I decided I wanted a little more drama in the living room so I purchased a philodendron from our neighbors, marguerite gardens.  It is rather large but, I like it that way.  Also, notice the addition of drapes.  I saw them and liked them but was taking a risk.  I am happy with them! 

chicago defrost

These were taken about 2 weeks ago on the first sunny and above freezing day since last year. I took out the bike from hibernation and snapped some pics! This week has been pretty amazing so far too!
